As many of you know, Ryan was recently accepted to pharmacy school in South Jordan, Utah. This past weekend we drove to Salt Lake to look for places to live and a job (yes we like to pay our bills, have a roof over our head, and eat - crazy, I know).
So we spent roughly 30+ hours in a car over the course of 3 days (yikes) and I think we drove pretty much every where in the Salt Lake valley. We stayed in Temple Square so of course we got to walk the temple grounds. We went up to the University of Utah campus, visited a school district, either phoned or toured a large number of the apartments and townhomes in the region, and of course donated a large portion of our money to various gas stations - well I say donate but I don't think we will be getting a tax deduction for these "donations."
Anyhoo, we had a fantastic time and our little adventure solidified for us that we are actually MOVING! Wow!
We don't have a place to live yet or even a job (hint hint if you know of anything we are all ears), but we are super excited to be starting a new chapter in our lives.
